Liverpool have reportedly moved ahead of Paris Saint-Germain in the race to sign highly-rated RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande.
According to respected journalist David Ornstein, Liverpool have already made contact with Leipzig as they step up their pursuit of the 19-year-old star. While PSG remain interested, Liverpool are currently believed to be in the strongest position to convince the player if a transfer becomes possible.

Diomande enjoyed an outstanding Bundesliga campaign, scoring 12 goals and providing 8 assists in 33 league appearances. His performances have attracted attention from several top European clubs.
With Liverpool beginning a new era under Andoni Iraola, the club sees Diomande as one of the exciting young talents who could strengthen the squad for the future. Although RB Leipzig are reluctant to sell, Liverpool’s interest appears to be growing as they continue to explore a potential deal.
The Reds are hoping to bounce back strongly next season, and landing a promising winger like Diomande would be a major boost for the club’s rebuilding project.
