According to respected journalist David Ornstein, Liverpool have already made contact with Leipzig as they step up their pursuit of the 19-year-old star. While PSG remain interested, Liverpool are currently believed to be in the strongest position to convince the player if a transfer becomes possible.
Diomande enjoyed an outstanding Bundesliga campaign, scoring 12 goals and providing 8 assists in 33 league appearances. His performances have attracted attention from several top European clubs.
