Liverpool are stepping up their summer transfer plans, with reports claiming the club has opened discussions over a move for RB Leipzig youngster Yan Diomande. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano revealed that both Liverpool F.C. and Paris Saint-Germain F.C. are in contact with the player’s representatives ahead of a possible transfer.
Despite the growing interest, the deal may not be straightforward. RB Leipzig are reportedly trying to keep Diomande by offering him a new contract that includes a release clause.
Romano also mentioned that Liverpool remain interested in Bradley Barcola, who is seen as one of the club’s top attacking targets as they prepare for life after Mohamed Salah.
Diomande is viewed as a direct replacement option on the right wing due to his pace, finishing, and attacking style, while Barcola offers more flexibility across the forward line with his dribbling and creativity.
With Arne Slot planning a major rebuild, Liverpool could push for one or even both players this summer.
