Eli Junior Kroupi has been linked with a possible move to Liverpool following his impressive debut Premier League season with Bournemouth, where the 19-year-old scored 13 goals.
However, transfer insider Mick Brown has suggested that a move is very unlikely this summer, stating that Liverpool are not prioritising a new striker at the moment.
Liverpool already have strong attacking options, with Alexander Isak expected to lead the line next season when fit, while Hugo Ekitike will also return from injury later in the campaign.
Instead, the club is focusing its transfer plans on other areas such as a winger, a right-back, and a more versatile attacking option rather than another central striker.
Bournemouth are reportedly unwilling to sell Eli Junior Kroupi unless a massive offer above £100m arrives, making any deal even more difficult.
With Liverpool’s current squad plans under Andoni Iraola influence and other priorities in the market, Kroupi is expected to stay at Bournemouth for now.
